The Morgan Leary Vaughan Fund (Morgan’s Fund) emerged from a need to establish a mechanism for:

  • Disseminating credible and timely information about Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) to parents whose infants are most at risk for developing NEC

  • Raising the level of public awareness about NEC and the potentially devastating effects it can have on infants and their families

  • Advancing research to prevent, diagnose, treat, and ultimately, cure NEC.

Currently, it is headquartered in Naugatuck, Connecticut with a satellite office in Austin, Texas.

The Morgan Leary Vaughan Fund is seeking sponsorship partners to support our one-day regional conference about Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), entitled Speaking of NEC: Unplugged. We have sponsorship levels ranging from $1,000 up to $3,500.

As a partner, your company will receive exposure through printed and digital materials, social media, on-site marketing and more!

Your sponsorship funding will aid in our efforts to educate our attendees about the full continuum of NEC: its impact on patients and their parents, the cost to the hospitals that treat it, and methods to improve both its short and long-term outcomes.

We anticipate 100 attendees for our conference hailing from Central Texas and beyond including: parents, patient advocates, neonatologists, clinicians, researchers, medical and nursing students, media, policy makers, and the public at large.

Our overarching goals for the conference are to:

  • EDUCATE attendees about NEC and its impact on their community

  • SPARK interest in the disease and discussion among attendees

  • INSPIRE community engagement and action in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of NEC.

Gold Level—$3,500

Silver Level—$2,500

Bronze Level—$1,000
